A. Preliminary Statement



Dedication to the study, respect for authority, strict observance of the rules and regulations of the college and unfailing courtesy are expected at all times. The Administration, after due Process, reserves to itself the right to suspend, dismiss from the college at anytime, strike off from the list of candidates for graduation and/or withhold the diploma, or expel any student who violates any of the provisions of this code, or fails to satisfy the academic standards of the college.

B. On Students Behavior



The following rules and regulations shall govern the conduct of a student enrolled in the NPC. Violations shall be dealt with as provided herein.

1. All students are argued to read, observed and follow these regulations carefully Ignorance of these rules and regulations will not exempt a student from the penalties for non-compliance.
2. Every student is expected to uphold the principles and ideals of the College and to observe/obey the standard of morality, conduct, and courtesy in and off campus.
3. A student should not come to school under the influence of liquor and/or drugs.
4. Gambling, carrying dangerous weapons, addiction to prohibited drug, vandalism, stealing, irrational mass actions, illegal protests or engaging in strikes, and doing similar undesirable acts are grounds for suspension and/or dismissal.
5. Smoking inside the school compound is strictly prohibited.
6. The College reserves its right to drop from its roll, students who will be found to be disrespectful, discourteous, and undesirable to the College.
7. Students shall not wear a hat, cap or any headgear inside the classroom, chapel, library, offices or any other college premises.
8. Students shall not wear slippers, shorts, hot-pants, see-trough dress, sandos, T-shirts or any outfit inappropriate in classes.
9. Whistling, conversing in boisterous or boorish manner, or otherwise making offensive noise, w/c disturbs the prevailing tranquility w/n the college premises is strictly prohibited.

C. Behavior in Classrooms



Students shall enter the classroom only after the outgoing class has left the room, and shall do so in an orderly manner. The class shall rise when the instructor enters the room to begin session and also when he/she prepares to leave at the end of such session, as a gesture of respect for authority. Likewise, students shall rise when called upon to recite and when asking questions to the instructor.
While the class is in the session, students shall at all times be attentive to the instructor/professor and shall not:

1. leave the classroom w/o prior permission from the prof. / instructor.
2. engage in conversation w/ a classmate or any outsider, or otherwise disturb the orderly course of studies going on;
3. eat, nap, or otherwise render untidy or dirty any classroom;
4. boisterously laugh, giggle, hoot, or shout when other classes are in session;
5. utter or write indecent or vulgar words or remarks, nor inscribe any letter, figure, or words on any desk, table, chairs, blackboard/whiteboard, or wall of the classroom;
6. raise and place a foot/feet on desks, seats, or wall; or
7. insult anyone nor in any way act or show lack of respect for authority and others.

D. Behavior in Reading Areas, Hallways, Corridors, and Stairways



Students shall not make unnecessary noise in reading areas, hallways, corridors, and stairways, especially during class or office hours. Boisterous conversations, giggling, singing, playing musical instruments, eating, or running in these areas, are not allowed. Loitering along corridors during class hours and blocking stairways by sitting on the steps, are also improper and irritating: corridors and stairway shall always kept clear for passage.

E. General Behavior



1. Students shall at all times wear the prescribe complete uniform.

Female:

Long sleeved white blouse
Checkered skirt w/ length below the knees
Checkered tie
Black shoes
Issued ID
Male:

White polo shirt w/ NPC logo (w/ white under shirt)
Black slacks
Black shoes w/socks
Issued ID
No earrings and/or long hair

3. Students shall wear ID’s properly at all times when inside the college premises.
4. Students shall not lend his/her ID or school uniform.
5. Students shall participate actively in college programs, flag ceremonies and activities and w/o Engaging in any unruly conduct/behavior.
All 6:30 a.m. students and those inside the campus shall attend the Monday Flag Ceremonies while 5:30 p.m. students and those inside the campus shall attend the Flag Retreat
6. Students shall avoid committing any form of littering, unsanitary acts, smoking or any act of misdemeanor when inside the college’s premises.
