General Offenses and Specific Offenses – Sanction.
I. Negligence and Omissions
1. Failure to wear ID and prescribe uniform for a total of 5 times w/n a month. – A
2. Failure to observe rules and regulations set by the college. – A
II. Misconduct and Misdemeanor
1. Refusal to follow orders of the college not to affiliate w/ any unrecognized student organization operating inside or outside of the college. – A 2. Drinking or taking intoxicating beverages or prohibited drugs w/n the college premises. - B
3. Possession or illegal use of firearms, deadly weapons w/n the college premises. – C
4. Inflicting bodily harm or injury to another person w/n the college premises. – C
5. Entering the college premises under influence of liquor or drugs. – B
6. Engaging in scandalous or indecent acts w/n the outside college premises. – B
7. Committing disrespectful, vulgar, and abusive acts against other students, an employee, personnel, faculty members or official of the college. – B
8. Pasting, circulating, writing or painting of subversive materials or libelous comments, statements or remarks against any college official/employee/faculty in the college premises. – B
9. Bringing into premises of the college obscene, indecent, lewd, libelous, defamatory, moral offensive or subversive objects, picture and literature. – B
10. Shouting, conversing in loud, unruly, boisterous or boorish manner, or otherwise, making offensive noise in hallways, corridors, or stairways. – A
11. Refusal to follow verbal or written orders or instructions of a college official or faculty in connection w/ a student’s welfare. – A
12. Physical assault upon a college official/professor/personnel. - C
13. Threatening, coercing, intimidating or subjecting to verbal abuse a college official/professor/personnel. – C
14. Involving oneself in any form of hazing or any activity w/c involves infliction of physical or mental harm to fellow students, faculty members and officials and personnel of the college.- D
15. Engaging in harmful acts of similar unrecognized fraternities sororities and other student
III. Fraud and Act of Dishonesty
1. Engaging in fictitious transactions, tampering of school records. - D
2. Using or giving false testimony, document or information in any of the investigation, Proceedings or inquiries about the college. – D
3. Falsifying or forging college records and documents. - D
4. Using falsified records or documents. – D
5. Offering, accepting or bribing anything of value in exchange for tampered records or doing Something illegal or wrong. – D
6. Extorting or illegally soliciting funds; asking money or materials from others. – D
7. Engaging in any forms of gambling, lottery and other games of chance inside college Premises. – C
8. Cheating in examination. - C
9. Stealing one’s personal property and belongings or otherwise. – D
IV. Sabotage, Vandalism and Damage to School Property
1. Willful damaging, destruction or sabotage of the college property, equipment and machines and facilities. – C
2. Committing an act of vandalism of any sort. – C
3. Stealing and damaging of any property of the college. – C
Sanction
For the enforcement of these rules and regulations, the Board of Trustees shall approve and create a Committee on Discipline/Grievance Committee w/c shall be composed of the following: A Faculty member, OIC of Student affairs, President of Student Organization, Faculty Club President and Guidance Counselor. The decision of the committee shall require the concurrence of the majority of the members thereof, except when the penal sanction is exclusion or expulsion of the respondent student, w/c shall require the concurrence of all members of the committee, otherwise, the lesser penalty of suspension shall be imposed in such period as the majority of the committee may agree to impose. Any dissenting member of the committee must state his/her reason and dissent in writing, w/c shall be attached to the majority decision. This committee shall then submit their findings/recommendations/decisions to the College Administrator for final approval and commutation of the penalty.
Sanction for Violation of Each of the Provisions provided for under the general and specific offenses shall be group into the following:
A – Counseling to expulsion
B – Written Reprimand to Expulsion
C – Suspension to Expulsion
D – Expulsion
However, suspension for a period of more than 5 days and expulsion from the college shall be discretionary on the part of the College Dean or Administrator.
