Speech and Advocacy
Students will by all means be given the right to express themselves through freedom of speech and of the press. Such right, however, should be practiced w/o prejudice to existing rules and regulation that advocates such freedom.
Changing of original entries on the REGISTRATION CARD is strictly prohibited and will mean cancellation and/or invalidation of grades received, plus administrative sanction. A separate change/addition/dropping form should be secured from the Registrar’s Office.
CUT-OFF DATES
1ST Semester - Every First Monday of July, Until 5:00 p.m.
2nd Semester - Every First Monday of December, until 5:00 p.m.
At the end of every term, if any student receives a grade for any unofficially enrolled subject (not validly enrolled in or nor supported by duly approved change/addition/dropping form), such grade shall automatically be considered as being null & void.
Attendance
Every student is required to attend at least 80% (40% per semester) of the required total number of hours of class and laboratory periods in a given semester in order to earn the credits for the subject he/she enrolled in.
Any student who, for unfavorable causes, absents himself from class for more than 20% (10% per semester) must submit some document for his re-entry. A student who has been absent must obtain an excuse slip from the Guidance Office. The approved excuse slip must be presented to the instructor(s) concerned not later than the second session following student’s return.
When the number of hours lost by absence reaches 20% (10% per semester) of the total class hours, he shall be dropped by the instructor unless there are valid reasons. Time lost by late enrolment shall be considered time of absence.
Policy on Changing/Dropping/Addition of Subjects & Change of time/Schedule
